Welcome to Term 1

Hi Everyone,
Just a very quick update.

Clare’s recording sounded fantastic check it out here. Can you believe she is only in year 8!

Entry forms for the Northern Beaches and Sydney Eisteddfod are due soon, please let me know if you are wanting to enter either Competition.

Also all students wanting to be apart of the Nursing Home performance in April please start thinking about a song from the 40s or 50s 🙂 This is going to be a fun afternoon and the residents of Carlingford are going to LOVE it I’m sure.

Till Next Time,

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and are enjoying some time off with family and friends.

The Carols at Concord Community Hostel was a fantastic success. All my students did a wonderful job and the residents were really enjoying themselves.

Natalie came 1st in the Rising Star category in the ‘I wanna be famous’ singing competition in Burwood. She made a BIG impression on the judges, the crowd and even some “special guests” in the audience 🙂

Clare also used the recording time she won in the Busking Competition a few weeks ago, I am really looking forward to hearing the CD!

I’ll be back teaching on the 9th of January in Meadowbank. Lessons in Pennant Hills will recommence in February. Until then take care,

Term 4 with only two weeks to go!!!!

Hello Again!

Everyone here is extremely busy with rehearsals and performances, we are all particularly looking forward to the Christmas Carols at Concord Hostel this Saturday, photos to come 🙂

Over the last few weeks:
– Kristy performed in the chorus for her school production of Alice in Wonderland, what a great opportunity, Kristy had a lot of fun and I’m sure was wonderful on stage, looking forward to the next one already 🙂

– Olivia’s production of Cinderella Rockerfella is all over, its been a big year for Olivia singing for the first time in Eisteddfods and starring in a musical but she has done a wonderful job.

– Clare continues to perform as much as possible, singing and placing in a local busking competition in which she won recording time a few weeks ago! As well as preparing for a performace this Sunday night in Parramatta. She is a hard worker and I am very proud of her.

– And lastly but definitely not least 🙂 Natalie is preparing for a performance this weekend. Natalie was picked out of 1000 people and mostly adults to perform in the “I wanna be famous Talent Competition” in Burwood.
You can see her amazing audition below where this little powerhouse belts out Whitney Houstons One moment in Time. She has a very big future ahead of her I think
