Term 3

Hi Everyone,

It’s certainly been an exciting and big year, with 3 of my students completing there HSC and thinking about there future. Students entering Eisteddfods for the first time, New students coming for singing lessons in Ryde, Musicals and now preparation for our Annual Carols Concert. Term 4 is always my favourite time of year.

Performance Update

Lovely Grace came FIRST in the Ryde Eisteddfod with Lost Boy. Grace sings this beautifully. You can listen to her singing Lost boy below. We recorded it in one of her lessons at the end of Term 3.

Anushika competed in her first Eisteddfod in Five Dock and came third in both the Any Song and Popular Song categories. She did a wonderful job, just singing in front of an audience is a big step and she was the first person to sing on the day! Well done Anushika, I am so proud of you

Summer who is probably one of my busiest singing students, entered the Five Dock, Castle Hill and Hornsby Eistedffod’s. She also performed in her School Music night and was involved in a Cabaret Show with a local theatre group. She received multiple Highly Commended’s in all the Eisteddfods and came 1st in the Pop Section, 2nd in Any Song and 3rd in Country, all at the Five Dock Eisteddfod.

Sofia sang in her school talent quest and came Runner Up. You can hear all the children singing along with her as she performs “I’m Still Standing”. This is just incredibly special.

And Finally lovely Lucette performed in her School Musical, Beauty and the Beast Jnr. Lucette played Babette and she was fantastic! And I know I am incredibly biased but she was by far the stand out in the show 😛 She had a very authentic french accent and had the most infectious smile on stage you could just see her joy at all times.

If you are interested in Singing lessons in Ryde, Lessons for Term 4 start on Tuesday the 10th of October, I still have some availability so feel free to email me at emma@musicwithemma.com.au or you can contact me via the contact page on my website here
