Highlights for 2014

Hi Everyone,

It has been a wonderful year for all of my students with Musicals, Eisteddfods, Charity Performances and School Talent Quests we have kept busy, I can’t wait to see what my talented students achieve next.

Some particular Highlights I think were
– Grace being accepted into a Bachelor of Music degree at Wesley.
– Georgia winning the Northern Beaches Championship and being cast as Tracey in her school musical Hairspray.
– Clare travelling to China to perform and being cast as Ariel in The Little Mermaid
– Lynda getting a job in Disney World as a character performer
– Anika, Sofia, Louise, Xiomara, Ashton, Clare, Grace, Georgia all receiving first places in Eisteddfods.
– ALL THE MUSICALS! Cinderella, Throughly Modern Millie, The Little Mermaid and Joseph and the Technicolour Dream Coat

And of course the Christmas Carols are less than 2 weeks away! It is going to be a wonderful day so make sure you come along and enjoy the Performances, Sausage Sizzle and Water Rides! For more information please look here

Finally something I am very excited about my student Alexandra Lynne who has just completed her first year of a Bachelor of Music, is opening her own Singing teaching school!!!

Alex has been a student of mine for 5 years and has not only a beautiful voice but is very good with children and will be a wonderful singing teacher. If you are interested in having lesson with her please click here for information.  As I am running out of available places, I will begin to recommend to Alexandra. All of Alexandra’s students will have the same performance opportunities as my own students and I will be offering Alexandra my support particularly over the next 6 months, though I am sure she will not need it.

Now we still have a bit of work to do before the end of the year but it is going to be a fun December.
Good luck to all my students performing in the Carols and to Clare,  The Little Mermaid begins production in a few weeks for ticket information click here.

We will be performing a set of Christmas carols at the annual Community Christmas Celebration at Ryde Park on the 7th of December. http://www.sydney.com/events/ryde-community-christmas-celebration

We also have 3 Musicals before Christmas!

Amelia is in Throughly Modern Millie which is preparing for it’s opening night on the 24th of October for tickets click here

Georgia and Louise are both practicing for Cinderella which debuts on the 20th of November. For ticket info click here

And last but definitely not least Clare is preparing for Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jnr which comes out on the 19th of December. Clare is playing the title role of Aerial and if you’d like to see her swim and sing across stage you can purchase your tickets here

We also have a lot students preparing for school talents quests as well as auditions of university music degrees. I just want to wish all my students good luck and I hope you all enjoy preparing for your individual and group performances.
